The first of its kind

Rise and shine… so what if it’s still quarantined!

Stuck home alone, or with family, the new world order has caused a certain amount of physical and mental strain to our free-like-a-bird generation…

Besides surviving the Pandemic, your Job, your Chores, there is still some pressure left on surviving Yourself (to those who don’t want another webinar or training or certificate program during this quarantine)!

Phew!
Let’s take a deep breath, cause our brain and body can only take so much of the Crisis Mode.

While we obviously cannot let the guards down during quarantine, we can definitely try some tips & tricks to bring normalcy into our day and ease our minds from that alarming mode.

Here are a few from my end, hope u like and embrace some of these into the days of your lives (yep, you guessed it right!)

  • MORNING ALARMS ON PLEASE
Stick to a daily wake-up time. Form a routine after waking up. Take a shower and put on comfortable clothes. This brings a sense of normalcy.
  • PRACTICE DISTANT GAZING
Let’s try now. Just try looking at anything distant for at least 5-10 minutes. Look outside the window, at a bright corner in the house, or even just the roof. Just try
  • Did you?
Besides being one of the best exercises for your eyes, it also brings perspective and clarity to the mind. Share what you felt in the comments section! Read more about Sky gazing
  • MUSIC HEALS
Put on some music that interests you as you get some chores done. Sing along. Maybe your mop can be your dance partner in this quarantine. Explore a new genre of music you’ve never heard before.
  • COOK AT LEAST 1 NEW RECIPE!
Add a little bit of this and a little bit of that and voila!! Whip out your inner chef and try cooking something new in the kitchen.

  • STAY HYDRATED
Staying indoors and not doing much might not induce thirst. So, make a note to drink enough water to maintain proper digestive health. The first sign of dehydration is a headache and mental unrest, keep a watch!
  • GET THOSE HAPPY HORMONES
Let’s stop making work excuses and spend at least 30 minutes of the day doing some physical activity. Stretch your limbs, do some yoga or take your walks in the house!
  • LITTLE BIT OF ‘ME’ TIME
Allow yourself a self-care day. Oil your hair, and watch your favorite movie. Meditate. Spend time with your thoughts and get to know yourself.
  • YOUR CANVAS IS CALLING, WHERE ARE YOU!
I know we are all tired from the chores, but no better relaxation than to do what we love doing. Whether it’s your love for colors or music, take some time out.

WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS TO DO, THERE ARE ALWAYS THINGS NOT TO DO, LIKE

  • GOOD NEWS BAD NEWS
Make it a point to not read/ watch the news first thing in the morning or right before you go to bed. It can take a toll on your mental health.
  • SCROLL LESS
Now that there’s not much to do, we often find ourselves on social media. scroll Put down your electronics at least for an hour a day and give a break to your eyes.
  • No Walks-in-Mask, please!
Running, power-walking, or exercising with the mask on is a strict no-no. It can restrict your oxygen consumption and pressurize your lungs to collapse. Try jogging on the spot indoors or walk tip-toe from one corner of the house to the other, great for the hip joints btw!

Tough times make us stronger.
Look at the positive, the dawning rays will soon bring sunshine to a free world!

Enjoy your quaran-TIME!
